New Line of Synthesizers

GED completed development of a family of both phase-locked and direct digital synthesizers. Phase-locked synthesizers feature low noise signals up to 8 GHz. Direct digital synthesizers (DDS) feature high resolution (less than 1 Hz step size). Both families can be customized to meet your specific requirements.

The LMPL is a high performance frequency source series utilizing GED's proprietary VCO and phase locking techniques. The LMPL series provides low phase noise and high accuracy. It is ideal for wireless applications, local oscillators and lab references. The module includes an output amplifier to boost the output up to +13 dBm for many applications. Outputs ranging from 100 MHz to 6 GHz are available with either internal or external reference or both options. The RF main output and reference output are available through SMA connectors. Visual detect and lock signal status are also provided in these modules. The LMPL_F is a 2.0" x 2.0" x 0.75" metal housing, while the LMPL_GF and LMPL_GSP are packaged in a 3.0" x 3.0" x 1.0" metal housings.
